CS 2450 PARALLEL COMPUTING
The fundamental principles of parallel computing systems are studied at the architecture level, the algorithmic level and the application level. Topics of specific interest include: MPP and SMP Architectures, including Multi-cores and Many-cores, Parallel Programming Models and Paradigms, Interconnection networks, cache coherence issues, design and analysis of parallel algorithms, resource and power management, and the application of parallel systems to solve real problems.
