The Computer Science Department offers a scholarship to the National Center for Women and Information Technology Aspirations in Computing Award winners each year. Aspirations awardees are selected for their computing and IT aptitude, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.

K – 12 Outreach

The Department of Computer Science values impactful K- 12 outreach programs as a means to incite a passion for computer science in younger generations who may have no prior experience and introduce the University of Pittsburgh as a valuable institution where students have many opportunities to succeed.
